its all about the right time. with the right person....right choice. ask yourself, "will i regret doing this later?"

it's sad to know that there are more girls who are virgins than guys who are virgins (or at least that's the way i feel). is it even possible to find a guy who's a virgin to marry? (that used to my mentality but not anymore.) when you find the right person, does it matter if he is still a virgin or not?

So many random scattered ideas are bouncing around in my head, so the following will just be one idea jumping to the next. (in no particular order)

1. organism is like having your soul pulled out of you and re-embed in you after. organism is like you've finished the SAT that you've been studying for months for and got an 2400 right after. organism is like having chocolate melt on your tongue and uplifting your whole body.

2. sex is addicting, but you don't want to get hooked onto it. sex is a drug.

3. release each breath of freedom. sex can bring your emotions out as you become a part of the intense sexual realm, the more you are into it the greater the emotions are and the better it feels. with each breath, you allow each emotions to flow out and through your body (from the very top of strand of hair to the last skin cell on your foot). your body starts to ache (in a good way), you begin to struggle with each movement in the moment, you want to release more and more emotions, during this state you will rise to your fullest and everything feels good.

4. some say sex feels better when you don't use a condom. does it feel better when you find out you missed your period?

5. for those who haven't had sex yet, you never know what you're missing out on unless you've gone through it.

6. in human development family studies class, teacher was talking about when you rub a dog's stomach, you feel so happy and they flip over and show you their genitals. "that's the real way to show someone you trust them, right?" professor said. do we always trust the one that we have sex with?

7. as you break each level in the baseball field (first base, 2nd, 3rd and home run). does the level(s) underneath the one you've gone to feel less good? if you've touched all bases, does holding hands still make your heart beat faster?

8. Sex. Is this what i really need? Going through life never experiencing it is like never going on a roller coaster to experience the rush, but everyone describes the rush differently to someone who has never been on a roller coaster.

the question arises, “do i really want to feel the rush?” People that never experienced it just live normally with their lives, they don't need such “rush”, but for those who have exposure to it, they tend to know more and might want it more.

CAUTION: I'm not telling you to have sex! just saying what i think about sex in general. it's a topic that is not widely talked about amongst asians. we (or at least I, myself) never got "the talk" from my parents. if i was still in china, i would have learned about sex education much later.

DO it with someone you love or someone who you think it's worth give your body to. Think about it this way, it's not like a guy's thing changes after doing it with a lot of girls. but that's not true vice versa.

FIND THE RIGHT PARTNER. Having the right partner for sexual activity is like going with someone you trust to lead you out of a nebulous forest. Full of trees that block the sunlight, not allowing for those to seeing beyond that realm that your in. No sense of direction to guide you through the obsolete dense forest, no where you turn you can get out, that is why you need to find the right partner. Some you can believe, trust, and love.

WITH OUT THESE REQUIREMENTS, SEX WILL NOT FEEL AS SATISFYING.

Don't do anything you'll regret later in life because life isn't reversible. When you want to change the past, it's already too late.

Appreciate your body because in the end, it is your body. Nobody else's. Your's. Take care of it. no money or anything in this world can trade for the value of good health.

Below is my personal ideal boyfriend check-list:

1. nice. kind. honest. caring. loyal etc. -

all those expected things that all girls would want is all included in this #1. fair enough?

2. decently body shaped-

not too chubby. not too diesel. not too boney. Someone's who's decently fit and whom I feel secure and safe around. I don't want someone who's going to scream like a girl and run away when I'm in danger lol, but I don't want someone who just has muscles to their advantage for the wrong reasons.

3. think before you talk-

(esp when arguing) i like guys who are more reserved in the sense that when you're in a fight w/ him, he wouldn't just say everything that registers through his head and yells everything out. people say anything when they're mad even when they don't mean it. It makes it so that you're solving the conflict in a more intellectual/easier way to work it out with someone who is calm and talks less than talk more in a fight. it tends to seem violent too

4. personality type: more reserved than outgoing-

Guys who are easy-going and get along with everyone. That doesn't necessarily mean outgoing though. If I had to choose between super outgoing to super reserved, probably reserved. I just can't deal with someone's constant voice blahbing24/7. Hard to find someone who's a talker and a listener. Every reserved person has a loud side. They're just loud and talkative w/ the ppl they want to be loud and talkative.

5. Supportive and trustworthy/ability to trust others.

If I go to a party with friends on a night he can't go, the fact that he supports me by saying "Ok. Have fun and be safe. Let me know if you need anything" vs. "Ok. Don't grind with any guys, k? Don't drink bcs I don't want you to be drunk."

Sometimes when you're at your most down times, all you need is someone to support you and comfort you. That's it. The fact that he is there helps.

6. Positive outlook on life and optimism-

I cannot deal w/ ppl who are always so pessimistic! Negativity just brings the mood down.

I say: Want to go ice skating? he says: That's lame.

I say: I'm aiming for a B+ in physics class. he says: You're not going to since you suck at physics.

Encourage, rather than discourage. Share positivity, rather than negativity. Be nice, rather than be mean. (what's the point of being mean? nobody gains on either end)

7. Respect privacy-

There are things that should be kept confidential like personal savings in the bank, passwords to emails, etc. Not everything needs to be shared in a relationship. That's not lying. It's just personal privacy and confidentiality. (if that something affects the guy-ex: STDs, then you gotta tell them, but things like money and personal email don't need to be linked and shared by both)

8. individual freedom-

Sometimes you might think you're free, but you're not. Relationships comes w/ a price. If you think about whatever it is that's bothering you, ponder the question, "Does being in this relationship restrict the freedom that I enjoy while being a single?" People who are happy and in relationship are ones who are giving up freedom to date others etc for the guy, but they would sacrifice that for the guy and that's awesome.

BUT if you are restricted of things that you enjoy doing but can't bcs your guy tell you not too, but you could do all those if you were single then you might not be happy in that relationship.

He doesn't let you dance, spend too much time with other guys, talk on the phone late at night with other guys etc but you can't give those up, well.... there's a problem right?

9. Humble and laid-back-

Arrogance and confidence are two different things.

Arrogance is just annoying and very unattractive in a guy, and when someone who has too much confidence, it might just lead to the wrong characteristics. A guy who is down for anything and isn't picky about things are so much easier to get along w/ ones who have too much opinion.

10. Curious and explorative/adventurous-

I get bored with the same routines and same conversations. Who doesn't, right? When you have the curiosity of exploring, you'll always learn and realize new knowledge and undergo experiences that you haven't before. What is life if experience does not exist? (philosophical question right there).

Studies have shown: if you're relationship is beginning to be boring, the way to revive the spark is to do things both of you have never done before. Travel to Dubai together! Go skydiving together! Go back to where you guys met or had your 1st date or honeymoon?

Lesson of the blog:

Each and everyone is unique in their own unique ways because of how we've been raised in the family, impacted by society and experiences we've gone through as individuals.

We all have our own personalities and therefore preferences.

Opposites attract but commonalities in people attract too. It's your personality and the expectations you have that determines the perfect match for you. On top of all that, how hard is it to have that person who match with you to like you back!

Life is hard. Finding the right love with the right person is even harder.

I realized that it's been a while that I have been single. Just after ending with someone in HS, I'm in another relationship in the beginning of college (now).

(even tho my goal is to not have a bf for the next 2 years until junior year...fail)

Someone special and someone who had the characteristics of someone I've been waiting for happened to like me back, so I can't let the chance slip away, right?

Although I'm happy and perfectly satisfied in the relationship, I wonder what I'm missing out for being single.

As much as you want to believe that you still have freedom when you're in a relationship, it's a trap.

#1Truth: You are limited and more refined when in a relationship than when you're single.

Reason: It's no longer about what YOU want as an individual, it's what YOU and HIM wants. Your decisions impacts not just YOU, but also HIM.

Overall: That's just a con but many pros completely outweigh the cons if you're with the right person. (if there's enough trust and love, freedom and restrictions shouldn't be an issue)

#2Truth: Don't LOOK and try so hard to find that special someone, because enjoy being single while you're single! When you're in a relationship, there's another layer of maturity that you need to be able to handle and not everyone's ready for it!

Reason: Unlike school, you HAVE to deal with the stress from school and mostly likely, school isn't an option, so you just have to deal with it. Well.....not relationships. YOU CHOOSE TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP. you're never forced into one. Since having a bf isn't a necessity, you can avoid the stress, conflicts, drama etc.

Overall: like all situations, there's give and take for all situations, and having a bf is just another give and take situation. there are PROS and CONS. you could be missing out on the experience of love and connection and trust and bond (did someone say physical attractions too?)

LIFE AS WE LIVE IT

-When you have pros, you will always have cons that follow.

-When you have best moments of you're life, you definitely have had some sort of depressing phase as well. Life is a hill and that's LIFE!

-It's okay! life is relative. you won't enjoy the happy moments as much if the sad moments didn't exist.

the short version of two scenarios (names are all made up):

scenario 1: Alina has been dating Jeff for half a year now, but seems to have a few other options. As much as she loves him, there's desire for more guys. Maybe desire isn't the right word. She still feels the attraction from other guys pulling her towards them. And yes, the word them is plural. There are four other guys as options. How can that be possible?

How can her feelings be shared? Even when she loves Jeff to the point she would not do anything to risk their relationship, Alina's deep secret is that her heart is shared. Can a heart and love be shared and distributed to different departments? Maybe she's just crazy because that's unfair to all parties, maybe it's normal because there's always attractions for others even when a girl like her is in a relationship. In a situation like that, where do they head towards? A stable relationship, followed by marriage?

When I thought she was just being selfish for trying to have so many guys all to herself, another friend (Anna) told me her story which made me feel more understanding.

scenario 2: Anna is single (that status can complicate or simplify a lot of situations). She has a few options for guys and is definitely not in any mood to jump into a relationship. She takes her time and tests all of them. Each one of them has their unique personality traits and characteristics that attracts her. The attraction can't be stopped, that magnetic pull is just present whenever she hangs out with each of them, individually. All of them has the same power of force, but different kind of force.

For one guy, it may be physical attractions and that chemistry that's doing the talking.

For another guy, it is the caring and soft side that pulls her towards him.

For another guy, it's the ambition and humor that keeps her going back to him.

There is always pros and cons in all.

We must accept we are all humans.

People have strengths and weaknesses.

It is how each person's own preferences that weighs each person's pros and cons differently that determines whether or not that person is right.

I endured through things I never want to experience in my childhood life, but because of you, I had to deal with the puffy eyes from tears and stabs in the heart.

I would have chose not to go to your house at night, not celebrate 9/29 anniversary even after sophomore year, not liked the Valentine's day present. I would have distanced myself from you before I get hurt from you.

I knew HS couples don't last until college, but at least I would think you would wait until college to find someone. It's dammnn right that there cant be such thing as best friends between a girl and guy, because the friendship is always being risked when one of them finds someone else to replace you.

wrong way to ask stranger out

So I was in the soy sauce section in the supermarket, (thank god my mom was at another isle somewhere) minding my own business, searching for that item I have pictured in mind.

Random asian guy comes up next to me.

I didn't even notice him until he said, "Hey whats up?"

I took a look at him, thought he was being friendly. "Hey. Not much."

Right away w/ no hesitation, already planned out, he said, "So you wanna hang out sometime?"

Never had anyone approach me like that. rly? seriously? wow. i said, "nah."

then he just walked away without another word.

This all happened in 15 seconds. THAT was a weird and awkward moment of my day. How much more sketchy and creepy can you get? Has certain guys get so desperate and unoriginal? I want to go inside his head and literally try to step in his shoe and understand what he had in mind. Would any girl fall for that?

Until 7:42 am ish, I felt pretty awake (singing to airplanes and lady gaga on the radio) but i actually fell asleep and woke up at 3 pm. ay yeay ay am I too old to pull an all nighter already?

In the car, Paula driving (me and Tim in the car). This cab behind us was crossing the lane to our side so abruptly, almost hit our car's butt. You know driver's rage-->Paula got so pissed right then, just swearing quietly in a joking way. Tim (sitting in the driver's seat) got pissed too, what kinda driver is sitting in that cab? (that driver also honked mad times too, really?)

Tim yelled: "watch it buddy!" (cab still behind us)

The cab drove to the lane next to our right, now we're window to window.

Cab driver: "F*ck u" (wow that rly got Tim pissed, he got the guts to do that?)

Tim now sticking up his middle finger, "get a real job" (ouch that really got him)

phew that conversation is over. and cab was still on the lane to the right but now behind us, slowing down bcs of traffic and the red light.

O man, he caught up again, now same distance as before. window to window. awkward and both cars were filled with anger and rage.

cab driver: "huh! u think its funny" in a ugly tone

Tim: "go eat your curry" (hard to understand what he was saying bcs of his accent)

cab driver: "what?! u having fun? huh!?! u think ur funny" in an even higher voice.

at that moment, i wasnt even quiet sure what he was saying. 1st experience like that. i mean i was afraid, but something like this had never happened. i actually got my seatbelt fastened. then again, what could he do? stop in the middle of the road/highway and argue with us?

here's the highlight: he drove in the same lane as us, in the front. (literally, right in front of our car) now, im like holy sh*t....

the cab driver stepped on the brake for a second and kept going. but on the small highway, we could have almost hit his car!

Paula: "what?! he want us to hit his car?"

we were no longer going in the same direction anymore, but that was an interesting night (well 5 minutes) in the car.

When I'm a driver, would I get that kind of rage too? Is it just like pouring more oil on fire when both sides are verbally hitting each other? In a situation like that, the one to step down would make the other feel more superior. There doesn't seem like there's a clear and smart solution in sight.

yesterday, holy crap! chillin' w/ friends at *Carlo's house (1 am) about to watch Triangle. *Amy is having issues w/ her bf who cheated on her 2x. it's bothering every1 and we all kno dat they dont match cuz she deserves better but she always ends up going back for him. amy's bf is pissed cuz she didnt call back and claims that she's cheating on him? it get so out of hand that he actually came over to carlo's house that late to like hunt her down to return all the stuff that she gave him. rly? can college guys be anymore mature than that?

next thing u know, amy's standing next to the window of his car, trying to calm him down. we see all those stuff she gave him all thrown on the sidewalk that we picked up. his voice gets louder and louder.

"amy, just get in the car"i said to her. all of us got into Paula's car, including amy. her psycho bf backs up his car to where *paula's car is, gets of the car to get amy. he freakin punches and kicks the car, yelling at amy as we drove away.

lost him bcs of the red light or else, i don't even know what could have happened.

worst thing is: Carlo's parents saw everything from inside, called the cops. but since we weren't there long, the cops thing wasn't a big issue, they didnt eventually come.

2nd worst thing is: Paula and amy's bf are cousins. paula's gotta explain things clear to her mom about the dent in the car. carlo now have a 12 am curfew & amy is basically banned from his house. o man. crazy night.

please amy, just break up with him. so not worth it to deal w/ a guy who doesn't treat u with respect and no trust. amy-not at all a cheating type, such a goody goody, always tryin to be the bigger and righteous one. this is the 3rd time you guys tried, if it's not working. it's not working! relationships shouldnt be this hard. if it is (at this stage?) what about when u guys get even more serious? c'mon we're still 18 here, way too much for a girl to handle.

i hve to admit, i've been thru a similar cycle and it's def. not healthy in a relationship to deal with screams and yellings in public by a guy. i hate to say it but the anger comes out so much bcs the guy loves u so much that it's gotten to the pt of unhealthiness. whatever reason chris beat rihanna, hey at least there was love there. not saying that was right but anger did derive from love, it's just too much of anything is never healthy. even love.

senior yr has been water just seeping thru my fingers. not sure if i want to hold on and stop the clock or to fast forward to college. before u kno it, there will be no water left running thru your fingers. changes aren't easy but im sure it will be fine.

i've been so out of it. never been lazier in my life. all i wanna do is just chillax and be laid back. there's no more late nights doing proj, not one min of fuzzling over that complicated derivative problem, and in fact, even signing muchos muchos yr books seem like more writing than i've done in such a long time. it's time to move on to the college stage of my life and start fresh. but how fresh can it be? will i be a new "me"? how much different of me will i be in college?

graduation on sunday! and diaaaammmm ABRSM grade 8 piano exam! just the thought of it gives me a headache. not so much confidence in this one than all the other exams in the past.

as long as i have the eyeliner color that matches the outfit, i'll do it! eyeliner, top it off with the same toned shadow to smudge it upward or to enhance the color of the eyeliner. Mac paintpot (rubenesque)-barely shown because it's blended out all over the lid

Jordana retractable eyeliner-

how-to (simple):

1. place paintpot all over the lid, blending it with the finger upward, fading. tip: don't put too much because although it's crease preventing, too much will speed up the creasing process!

2. Use jordana eyeliner closest to the eyelashes, creating a thin line. wing it out if you like

3. to pigmentize and smooth out the eyeliner, use a similar color of eyeshadow and press on top of the eyeliner. (blend upward to create a smokey effect if you desired)
You can't go wrong with a simple outfit: regular t and dark skinny jeans.

Purple is the color for today. purple dress with purple eyeliner. brown eyeshadow is my to-go eyeshadow and below is it.....

The singing body heat of the sun pressed on everyone's bare skin. Unbearable, yet grateful for a 86 degrees day like today.
A one piece dress. The back is the same string like shown the front but crossed in the back. Topped it off with a white braided belt.

Time to get the dresses out! I'm not a big summer's clothes type of person since in the past, my summers have been spent in China and I don't usually bring my clothes back, I just try to buy stuff there to wear so less luggage to bring there and back.

In the unbearable extreme weathers.....

A neutral look for anyone who doesn't want to go dramatic for this year's

prom or semi or sprinball or whatever special school occasion it is.

The key or option is to match the main lid color with the dress that you're planning on wearing. stylin'!

Easiest way for eye makeup:

1. color of dress all over main lid. (that was easy right?)

2. use frosty or another dark form of that color or a darker tone color than the main lid color and place it in the outer crease (use your decision making skills for choosing the color!)

3. use shimmery grey/black for the outer corner (overlapping on top of the step 2 color)

quick facts/tips:

1. u will be dancing, so don't go for a shimmery bronzer or shimmering face foundation because trust me, it can look very much like SWEAT! ewww (hence, preferably matte foundation)

-along that idea, choose long wearing foundation that won't wear off easily

2. go for a waterproof eyeliner and mascara!

3. don't put a thick layer or too much of the eyeshadow primer like urban decay or nyx jumbo eye pencil! too much will hunt u back and do u no good! too much=creasing. not pretty lol

They are only $1!!!!!!! Now, don't tell me that that is not a good deal. HELLO.

GREAT PIGMENTATION AND SO VIBRANT. JUST LIKE THE PIGMENTS, CAN BE USED FOR FACE, EYESHADOW, ETC.

hair removal: hits & misses

In here, I tell you a little bit about all the hair removal methods/tools i know. then their pros and cons, and then my little opinion blurb about it. enjoy!!!

epilator: small tweezers that rotates and pulls hair out from the root as if you were tweezing out every hair w/ a tweezer

pros:

-long lasting bcs its pulled from the root

-if you can handle tweezing, you can handle this (try tweezing one hair and see how much it hurt)

-once you get use to it, it's a piece of cake

-not messy/easy to clean

cons:

-first few times, yea feels like pinches (think about all that hair tweezed out at once)

-big investment $$$ (can range from $20-$200)

-some need an outlet to plug into for power (don't recommend battery-operated ones)

my opinions: I've just got into this. If you invest in one, then invest in a good one, or else why bother. the emjoi emagine is awesome! leg hair hurts like hell, but im sure it'll hurt less later on thru persistency. I'm fine with the armpit now, love it for armpit hair! (shaving sucks!)

Shaving: traditional & common way that removes hair from surface

pros:

-fast and quick

-painless (except if u get razor cuts-ouch!)

cons:

-grows back within 1-2 days

-possible razor cuts and ingrown hairs and bumps

rumors: hair grows back thicker or darker (seems that way bcs when it grows out, the tip is

blunt)

my opinions: don't need

to shave anymore. (use other better alternatives)

Sugar waxing: just like normal waxing except with sugar.

pro:

-all the pro wax has

-easy to clean up (rinsable w/water)

cons:

-same with normal waxing

wax: smoothed over over area, grabs the hair & pulled from the root.

pros:

-pulls hair from the root (longer lasting; 1 week or more)

-good for large areas and small areas

cons:

-OUCH!@#$$^%&^ (i can't stand it)

-can be messy/sticky/hard to manage

-hot wax may burn skin

my opinions: hurts like hell. never want to ever ever wax ever again. yea no. that's the end of that for me.

Threading: using the twisting of the thread to grasp the hair in the twisted intersection of the thread. (very much like tweezing)

pro:

-same as tweezing

-control, gentle, and easy to find tool (everyone should have thread somewhere in their house :)

con:

-good for small areas (recommended for eyebrows)

-time consuming for other areas

-need practice to be accurate and perfect

my opinions: i prefer tweezing over threading just because i'm better at tweezing. threading is just as fun and useful.

(hair removal=fun? im weird)

Tweezing/plucking: using a tweezer to yank out each individual hair one by one from the root

pros:

-you have the control over it

-great for small areas for precision & accuracy (popular one: eyebrows)

cons:

-time consuming (think how many hairs you are removing!)

-hair must be long enough to

be grasped by the tweezers

my opinions: only recommend if there's few hairs to be removed. like eyebrows. PERFECT for eyebrows!

Smooth Away hair removal: using a sandpaper like textured pad to loosing the hair follicle and removes hair from surface

pro:

-easy to manage; easy to remove hair;

-IT ACTUALLY WORKS! not a scam

-just like shaving but doesn't involve water/razor/cream

-no cuts or accidents can happen (do it lightly)

-buffs out dead skin cells, making skin silky soft!!!!!

con:

-a little expensive and product is not long lasting

2 applicators+5 small pads+5 large pads=$9.99; solution: ebay-search for cheaper alternatives

-don't give up if first few times doesn't work! you'll love it once you get the hang out it

my opinions: this is currently what i use for my legs. great alternative to shaving. no pain involved at all like wax etc. love it to a certain extent. love that it makes my skin smooth after using it but wished that it was longer lasting.

Bleach: not really hair removal; making hair color lighter so it's less noticeable

pros:

-no removal involved (yay! no pain)

-as long as others can't see it, why bother hair removal?

cons:

-hair is still there (will be visible if looked closely)

-be careful with the chemicals (sometimes accidents can occur if you have darker skin-don't bleach your skin color!)

my opinions: great for people w/ fair skin types so even when it is seen, the light colored hair isn't a surprise. i personally just prefer with hair removal methods.

epicare: a coiled-like wire that is used by bending it and twisting it inward to remove hair from the root.

pros:

-pain-free (at least very little tiny pain)

-works for even the tiniest and thiniest hair

-can do it for fun and don't have to be p

aying attention to it while using it

con:

- only great for certain small areas and short hair (won't work for long hair)

my opinions: I use this for upper lips and certain places on my face if i have h

air there. I feel like it's perfect for that. Don't work too well w/ eyebrow, bcs lack of control and accuracy. Doesn't work for long hair etc.

Laser hair removal: using the technology of laser treatments to zap skin, to targeting melanine (the dark matter involved in hair)

pros:

-if successful, no more unwanted hair!

(even though that's the only pro, it's a big one!)

cons:

-many treatments needed;

-can be costly

-may/may not be successful depending on each individual basis

my opinions: unwanted hair is something everyone has to deal with from beginning of life to the very end, so this can be an investment but if successful, it's definitely worth it. I seriously considered this for th

e future when I'm older, but rethinking it.

Electrolysis: permanent hair removal by using a device by professionals that not only destroy the unwanted hair but also the hair follicle that produce the hair.

pros:

-no more unwanted hair (woohoo!)

cons:

-again, can be costly and expensive

-can hurt like hell! (not just laser like rubber bands flinging on you skin, but a pinprick sensation)

-can cause scarring and skin discoloration

my opinions: you have to weigh out your cons and pros, ya know? for me, i know that i cannot stand pinpricking sensation for a long time and through multiple session. (again, persistency plays a role here)

The book contains all black pages with silver lines so it's a notebook. Normal pens and pencils will not show up on the pages, therefore, glitterpens are necessary.

It's only one glitter pen but it's handy and saves space because the glitter ink can be changed by just switching it and placing it in the pen; seven colors in total.
